October 2018: 
Leslie Wong, Michael Scott and Polly Storey have joined British Columbia member firm Clark Wilson as associates. Ms. Wong joins the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice group; Mr. Scott, its estates and trusts team; and Ms. Storey, its family law and estates and trusts groups. The firm has also hired students Alex Farkas (securities), Bhagwant Dhaliwal (commercial real estate and general business law), Ethan Plato (family law and higher learning) and Laura James (general business law and securities), each of whom has previously articled with the firm.

July 2018: Michal Jaworski, Don MacKinnon, Michael Wilson, Angela Cousins, Stephen Rukavina, Jeannette Aucoin and David Bowden have joined British Columbia member firm Clark Wilson. Mr. Jaworski joins as a partner and co-chair of the firm’s higher learning practice group. Messrs. MacKinnon and Wilson will join the firm’s commercial real estate team as associates, with Mr. Wilson also working for the firm’s private company mergers and acquisitions group. Mr. Rukavina will join the firm’s tax group; Ms. Aucoin, its family law team; and Mr. Bowden, its intellectual property and technology groups.

March 2018:  Andrea Rayment, Avery Saunders and David Ford have joined British Columbia member firm Clark Wilson. Ms. Rayment joins the firm as its director of professional development, where she will work with the firm’s attorneys at all stages of their careers to help build their leadership skills. She is a certified executive coach and an active member of the International Coaching Federation. Ms. Saunders joins as an associate in the firm’s private company mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and infrastructure, and construction and procurement groups. She advises private enterprises of all sizes on matters of corporate organization and structuring, and works with corporate borrowers in financing negotiations and drafting documents in operating and credit facilities. Mr. Ford joins as partner in the firm’s private company mergers and acquisitions, information technology and venture capital groups. He specializes in delivering advice on significant corporate transactions for many privately owned businesses, and also has expertise in the technology sector, helping companies generate revenue with their intellectual property or helping them acquire the technology they need.
